Tailored for Success

SFF has launched pilot workshops in 2024 and have designed for two different types of creatives: Academic and Entrepreneur. These workshops have provide art-driven students with practical skills, knowledge, tools, and resources to help them in their professional life after high school or assist them in the college process.

2024-2025 Workshop Timeline 

  • March 2024 - Phoenix Academy (Lawrence, MA) pilot workshop

  • May - June 2024 - Tailored for Success Workshop (6th-8th students), Helen Y. Davis Leadership Academy (Boston)

  • July - October 2024 - Beat the Odds (Boston) Image Development Workshop

  • January - June 2025 - Madison Tech HS (Boston), Product Development Workshop

  • February - July 2025 - G.R.O.W. Boston, Product Development Workshop

  • March - August 2025 - Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School (Lowell, MA)

  • Pending Start Date- Boys & Girls Club Lowell

 

Program Objective: Youth participants will work on individual pieces within a cohesive group collection, developing essential skills and knowledge in brand development. This final collection/brand will be presented at the annual Suited for Fashion Gala.

Portfolio Building (6-8 week program)

  • Develop portfolio building skills. Acquire the knowledge needed to build a successful portfolio to attain job opportunities or college acceptance

  • How to finance your entrepreneurship journey

  • Setting up your LLC

  • Understanding the business lingo

Fashion Show/ Shoots Production & Styling:
